"What was your most memorable meal ever?"

When I was in elementary school decided to do what every kid dreams of - I ate chocolate cake for breakfast. It had been my sister's birthday earlier that week and I wanted to do what no kid I knew had done before. Needless to say I had a major sugar rush that day and eventually, a sugar crash. It wasn't my greatest idea, but I'll definitely never forget it.

  1. The clock and what time it is set to was a very creative touch! Really nice and warm shot, with a nice and warm meaning :)

  2. First off, I love the cupcake. But actually I like the warmth of this photo, it really helps me understand how happy the experience was. The clock in the background is a nice touch, as well as the numbers are different colors so it's not just a bland clock. Good job!

  3. I agree with the other commenters about the warmth of this photo. It has a very calming effect and I can tell this is a very fond memory of yours. I especially like the depth of field created with this photo.

  4. I not only like that you included the clock but I love that you kept it blurry to keep the focus on the cupcake. I also agree with the warmth, it makes me feel at home and in your kitchen.

  7. I love how the sprinkles on the cupcake and colors on the clock at matching!! I also like how we can see the edge of the counter because it leads the eyes to the cupcake. But I think I would have centered the cupcake. Otherwise, great picture!!
