Smells Like Teen Spirit

For this shoot I decided to photograph dandelions because I think they represent adolescence and the hopeful nature of childhood. The photo has a bright, vibrant mood which I think fits "teen spirit" pretty well.  Teens are often told that they need to become more mature, but the dandelion represents the childish hope that remains with people throughout their teenage years.

  1. Your description is so cute! I like how you used depth of field and made the background blurry. The top right corner is a little distracting because it's a different color and an awkward shape. Good job!

  2. I really love h rule of thirds in this, it really strengthens the composition. The bright colors also really help the image pop. Overall, really great!

  3. I really like the depth of field you use in this photograph because it does a good job of emphasizing the foreground of your image. I also really like the shadows in this image because they make the picture feel like it has more depth, and make the rest of the grass seem much lighter.
